We love fire

Here are some pics of our 2008 inaugural fire! We love our fire pit in the backyard. S'mores galore and as an added bonus, Hazel is petrified of the fire so we get to enjoy our backyard without a crazy puppy running around.

Finn love Preggy Pops!

I am really loving Preggy Pops right now! They are an anti-nausea remedy that relieve my nausea for small periods of time. Finn loves them too.

Real Housewives of Denver

Have you ever seen the reality tv show "Real Housewives of New York City/Orange County?" Well it follows the "real lives" of very weathly pampered spoiled housewives in NYC and the OC. I just returned from a Caribbean cruise, my second in the last two months. My bro-in-law, Morgan, told me that they should start a new show "Real Housewives of Denver" starring me. What can I say? I know the right people! I love to cruise. My sister and I took my mom for her 50th Birthday. We had a blast! Here are a few pics!

In SoBe, Miami

Muster drill

On the Promenade deck

Lounging poolside with the "drink of the day" non-alcoholic of course!

In Cozumel, McCall running for the ship so we wouldn't miss prime rib and lobster night! She wanted a pic of our ship docked next to Enchantment of the Seas but she didn't want to stop and pose so we did an action shot!

Why I love Colorado...

As far a weather is concerned, there is no place like Colorado. I don't think there is anywhere else in the world where in April it can be 75 degrees and in May it is snowing. April 29th, yesterday, was 75 and gorgeous. We spent the day in the backyard playing and laying in the sun. It was so hot the boys stripped down to their undies and soaked themselves and Hazel with the hose. If we were in Seattle we would be in the house watching the rain and mist swirl around the sunless sky.

Today is May 1. In Colorado, there is a reason they tell you not to plant your garden until after Mother's Day. It is 33 degrees and snowing.

Don't worry... it's suppose to be back in the 70s by the weekend!
